Create and send a campaign
Draft, preview, approve, schedule, and send a client campaign in EonMailer.
Before you start
- Select the client workspace in the top-bar switcher (never guess — campaigns are client-scoped).
- Confirm send-ready: provider connected, From identity verified, compliance saved.
- Have a list or segment ready under Contacts.
Step 1 — Create the draft
- Go to Campaigns → New campaign.
- Name it for the client (e.g.
July promo — Acme). - Choose a template or start blank in the editor.
- Set Subject, Preview text, and From (must match a verified sender/domain).
Step 2 — Audience
- Pick a list, segment, or both (union/intersection follows the audience picker).
- Review estimated recipients — suppressions and unsubscribes are excluded automatically.
- Optional: exclude recent engagers or a suppression list.
Step 3 — Preview and test
- Use Preview for desktop/mobile.
- Test send to yourself and the client reviewer before asking for approval.
- Fix merge tags that show blank in the preview.
Step 4 — Approval (when required)
- Request team or client approval from the campaign page.
- Wait for Approved status — send stays blocked until then when the agency requires it.
- See Campaign approvals.
Step 5 — Schedule or send
- Send now for immediate dispatch (worker picks up shortly).
- Or Schedule in the client timezone shown on the form.
- Watch status: Queued → Sending → Sent. Open the campaign Report once events arrive.
Tip If send is blocked, the error includes a fix path (usually Deliverability). Fix readiness first — don’t retry blindly.
