Create and send a campaign

Draft, preview, approve, schedule, and send a client campaign in EonMailer.

Campaign flow

Before you start

  1. Select the client workspace in the top-bar switcher (never guess — campaigns are client-scoped).
  2. Confirm send-ready: provider connected, From identity verified, compliance saved.
  3. Have a list or segment ready under Contacts.

Step 1 — Create the draft

  1. Go to CampaignsNew campaign.
  2. Name it for the client (e.g. July promo — Acme).
  3. Choose a template or start blank in the editor.
  4. Set Subject, Preview text, and From (must match a verified sender/domain).

Step 2 — Audience

  1. Pick a list, segment, or both (union/intersection follows the audience picker).
  2. Review estimated recipients — suppressions and unsubscribes are excluded automatically.
  3. Optional: exclude recent engagers or a suppression list.

Step 3 — Preview and test

  1. Use Preview for desktop/mobile.
  2. Test send to yourself and the client reviewer before asking for approval.
  3. Fix merge tags that show blank in the preview.

Step 4 — Approval (when required)

  1. Request team or client approval from the campaign page.
  2. Wait for Approved status — send stays blocked until then when the agency requires it.
  3. See Campaign approvals.

Step 5 — Schedule or send

  1. Send now for immediate dispatch (worker picks up shortly).
  2. Or Schedule in the client timezone shown on the form.
  3. Watch status: Queued → Sending → Sent. Open the campaign Report once events arrive.

Tip If send is blocked, the error includes a fix path (usually Deliverability). Fix readiness first — don’t retry blindly.
