Mailgun
Connect Mailgun to EonMailer
API key, domain, region, and webhook configuration.
Step 1 — Provider settings
- Client workspace → Settings → Email provider → Mailgun.
- Select US or EU region (must match Mailgun account).
- Paste Private API key from Mailgun Settings → API Keys.
- Enter sending domain exactly as in Mailgun (e.g.
mail.client.com). - Save and test connection.
Warning EU keys against US API base (or reverse) always fail — region is not cosmetic.
Step 2 — Domain verification
Domain must show Active in Mailgun before bulk send. See Add domain.
Mirror domain status in EonMailer Domains.
Step 3 — Webhooks
- Copy EonMailer webhook URL.
- Mailgun → Sending → Webhooks → add for delivered, failed, complained, unsubscribed.
- Use signing key if EonMailer validates signatures (enable in app if offered).
Step 4 — Test
Send test message; confirm Mailgun logs show 200 OK and EonMailer activity updates.
Troubleshoot Mailgun if needed.
