Why opens, clicks, and bounces need provider webhooks — and how to fix Reports incomplete.

Missing tracking never blocks send. You’ll see Reports incomplete until webhooks are healthy.
What EonMailer configures
Depending on provider, we wire SNS / Configuration Sets (SES), SendGrid Event Webhook, or Mailgun webhooks to our ingest endpoint. You grant the permissions called out in the setup guide.
Fix checklist
- Open Deliverability → provider sheet → tracking section.
- Refresh readiness.
- Send a test and confirm events appear within a few minutes.
- Custom SMTP often cannot report full engagement — expect permanent Reports incomplete.
