Getting started
How agency workspaces work
Clients, team members, roles, and the workspace switcher explained.
EonMailer is built for agencies running email for many clients from one login. Each client is an isolated workspace — contacts, campaigns, domains, and provider keys never bleed across clients.
Workspace switcher
The top-bar switcher sets global scope for the app:
- All clients — roll-up dashboards only; most configuration screens prompt you to pick one client.
- Specific client — all lists, sends, and settings are scoped to that client.
Tip Train account managers to glance at the switcher before every send — wrong-client mistakes are the #1 ops horror story.
What’s isolated per workspace
| Resource | Scoped per client |
|---|---|
| Contact lists & segments | Yes |
| Campaigns & automations | Yes |
| Email provider credentials | Yes |
| Domains & senders | Yes |
| Deliverability stats | Yes |
| Approval workflows | Yes |
Agency-level billing and team membership span workspaces according to role.
Roles (typical)
- Admin — provider keys, domains, billing, team
- Campaign manager — create/send campaigns, manage lists
- Reviewer — approve or reject; no send without approval if policy enabled
- Read-only — client reporting access
Adding clients
Admins create a workspace per client brand. See Connect your first client and Multi-client workspaces.
Why this matters for providers
Each client connects their own SES/SendGrid/Mailgun account. Never reuse the same API key across two workspaces unless domains are deliberately shared (strongly discouraged).
